ABOUT STREET-FILES

Street-Files is an independent distribution company from Zurich, consisting an online shop and a stationary store. Fashion, how it is worn in European Metropolises, is the most important inspiration. Creativity, love to the detail and a unique product mix are important attributes for the product range design. Street-Files has established itself in Switzerland to a platform for european newcomer labels.

In 2006, the webshop street-files.com went online with the help of Berocca Forte and liters of coffee. The guest room from the founder Alex Braunschmidt got turned in to a photo studio with storage spaces. After that, the hobby soon became a full time job.

Meanwhile, Street-Files is counting five employees to its staff and is located on three sales areas in Zurich. In the end of 2012, Street-Files bought and integrated Dialogshop from Neuchatel together with their webshop and real store in to the company. The motivation and aim of the crew is still to surprise our customers with constant product innovation.

JUL. 2007:	First T-Shirt design contest with 2K by Gingham. 1'000 votes decided on the 10 best shirts
DEC. 2007:	Opening of the small 15 square meter shop at the Badenerstrasse in Zürich, the Street-Files MINI MART
AUG. 2008:	First full time job employee
OCT. 2008:	The online order number 1'000 was delivered
NOV. 2008:	Over 10'000 votes decided the winner oft he Best Band Shirt Contest on which more than 30 young designer took part
AUG. 2009:	Second full time job employee
OCT. 2009:	Party with Hypemag at the MINI MART: the store was overcrowded whilst The Stereo Youth were rocking it
MAR. 2010:	The MINI MART got bigger: After a long search we moved in tot he shop next door and remained true to the Badenerstrasse.

SEP. 2010:	Launch event with the Wemoto guys: with a lot of love Stefan Golz and Patrick Lotz designed our window and tested how much swiss beer you are able to drink as a german until you get a bad hangover...
DEC. 2010:	The first Street-Files Christmas dinner ends up in a fiasco with a lot of Grappa, soggy mobiles, food battles and many missing memories.
JAN. 2011:	Street-Files starts with a new logo into the new year
MAR. 2011:	The MINI MART got its first makeover
JUL. 2011:	Online order number 3'000 was delivered
AUG. 2011:	Fourth full time employee
OKT. 2011:	Fifth full time employee and with Victoria finally a girl,which chases the guys up to do something.
DEZ. 2012:	Opening of the Street-Files DISCOUNT at Ankerstrasse
JAN. 2012:	Our shop gets a small facelift to present our goods in the best way
FEB. 2012:	Takeover of Dialogshop in Neuchâtel and with Chris also an experienced Shop Manager
FEB. 2012:	Launch of the new webshop with a complete new design
MAR. 2012:	Rear-takeover of the small MINI MART at the Badenerstrasse 131 and name change of the big one to Street-Files FLAGSHIP
SEP. 2012:	Street-Files opens a further shop in Zurich: This time, Street-Files MINI MART II is lodging in a container at the Gerolds area.
NOV. 2012:	Online order number 5'000 was delivered. Yeah!
