 The french label Sixpack does not has its roots in fancy Paris. No, these guys are from the provincial Avignon. The inspiration came from graffiti, electronic music and rap. In 1998 the friends starting with a shop project. Without businessplan and limited financial ressources it was to begin like farming on a not so fertile field. But the success was not too far away and after all, even people from Paris came to visit the shop in the red light district.
Later, Sixpack started with it’s own label and soon the most recognized artists, graphic designers and illustrators are working for their T-shirt line. Those shirts are so unique, that even Justice used some designs in its famous „Do the dance“ video. |
